Leading Managed Services and Digital Transformation solutions service provider, T-Systems South Africa, has announced that they will be a Gold sponsor at the upcoming Digital Transformation Congress (DTC) 2018 hosted by IT News Africa.
The event, set to take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on 26 July 2018, aims to bring together industry experts to talk about rising technology trends and tackle the challenges businesses face along their digital transformation journeys.
T-Systems will deliver insights on why Cyber Security is now a fundamental enabler in any digital transformation journey. In addition, they will discuss the immediate priorities for all organisations which are pursuing a Microsoft Azure cloud strategy. Mpumi Nhlapo, Head of Marketing, and Partner Sales at T-Systems South Africa, will deliver the keynote address.
He says that they will be leveraging DTC 2018 as a platform to engage organisations around the tangible actions they can take today, to either initiate or enhance their business’s digital strategies.
Says Nhlapo, “Digital transformation has been the premise of the future for ages; however, it’s something that is happening now, and organisations are seeing the impact every day. It’s an ongoing evolution – a step-by-step journey – and not merely an end goal. With the influx of technologies punted as the answer to digital transformation, it’s easy for people to become distracted by their shine and glamour, and lose sight of what they need to be doing to build a strong foundation to support them first. DTC 2018 provides the ideal platform for us to share the building blocks of a successful digital transformation initiative and how they can be put in place today.”
He explains that expert speakers from T-Systems will be delivering insightful talks on the top five cybersecurity fundamentals that top-level business managers to be aware of on their digital transformation journey, as well as what businesses need to keep in mind when contemplating a shift to key digital enabler, the cloud.
“AI, robotics, automation, etc., are all very exciting and certainly very relevant, however they need to be underpinned by a solid cybersecurity foundation and an enabling platform like Microsoft Azure in order to take root. These are steps businesses can take today, to establish their digital transformation initiatives going forward.”
Delegates expected to attend the Congress will include CxOs, executives, board members, customer experience heads, and innovation and digital transformation strategists from multiple industries and verticals, including the healthcare industry, financial sector, government and ICT.
