Gartner report ranks SAP no. 1 in global ERP

SAP AG announced it has been named the overall market share leader in the worldwide enterprise resource planning (ERP) market. According to the April 24, 2012 report issued by Gartner Inc., “Market Share Analysis: ERP Software, Worldwide, 2011,” SAP ranks No. 1 with 25.5 percent share of the worldwide market based on revenue for 2011, reflecting a 13.2 percent growth from 2010.1
