Dajcom Limited, an official Samsung electronic distributor in Nigeria, has created more employment opportunities for citizens living in the country by hiring over 1 000 Nigerians across 36 Nigerian states.
Dajcom’s Marketing and Communications Director, Carla Chantri-Safa, says the company’s efforts to provide employment opportunities for Nigerians is aimed at contributing positively to the growth of the Nigerian economy.
“We are expanding in the northern part of Nigeria starting with Abuja, and our staff strength has increased with about one thousand employees,” says Chantri-Safa. “We will have 50 more branches in Nigeria.”
Dajcom’s General Manager, Nicholas Farah says the company has employed close to 1 000 people across various business services fields including manufacturing, marketing, maintenance, sales and service. “This staff strength is expected to peak at 1 500 within the next 12 months,” says Farah.
