Economy high on the agenda at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009

Major issues around ICT and economic growth will be among the key areas to be explored at the upcoming ITU TELECOMWORLD Forum.

From cost saving technologies such as virtualization, to innovations that can boost economies in emerging markets, technology will be crucial to the future success of businesses worldwide.
This year’s Forum comprises a number of different tracks, each enabling a focus on a critical area.

One of these tracks ‘ICTs and Economic Growth,’ brings together key players, from ministers and policy makers to captains of industry, innovative young vendors and ICT regulators, in an effort to get to grips with the forces shaping tomorrow’s ICT landscape.
