Microsoft senior director for Community Affairs, Akhtar Badshah, said his company’s venture with NGOs would boost an outreach programme in many communities of Kenya.

He said the main purpose of the deal and the establishment of the academy was to help bring the much needed access to affordable technology to the east African country.
