IBM announced today that it has expanded its connection with AT&T, INC. Sprint and other wireless carriers, so that their customers, that use IBM Lotus Notes and Domino, can have better e-mail access.
IBM’s Lotus Notes Traveler software enables users of the Lotus Notes e-mail, personal information management and calendaring data of selected smartphones.
This is part of IBM’s global initiative to advertise mobile usage and to increase customer loyalty as more people are making more usage of the internet on their phones on a daily bases.
Over the time more and more device markers and service providers are going to partners with IBM to take advantage of IBM’s open standards-based software’s fame.
