New personal SOS app launched

XtracktMe is launching a new Personal SOS mobile application. The application is aimed at individuals, family units, neighbourhood watch groups, tourists, the aged, security companies, campus security and a lot more.

The app is free for downloads and offers SOS emergency situations; in addition the application offers a Guardian Angel feature, Child finder, Medical history data and links to security service providers via the mobi and website.

The application offers the following features;

• SOS emergency – send a sms to 10 friends with your GPS location and message. A separate message and GPS to your security company or CPF.
• Record Video and sound for up to 10min and emailed to multi addresses. (The recorded evidence can be presented in court to verify facts and prove who was at the incident.)
• Automated 911 call. Call to your security company or CPF, speak to an operator and request an ambulance or armed response all the while sms goes and video records.
• Guardian Angel, count down timer for when going to meet a stranger or travelling through high risk areas.
• Medical details on the lock screen, easy access for first responders. Calls can be made to contacts while phone is locked.
• Family locator, track and locate verified members. Shows date stamp and last GPS if not active on network.
• Locate me, easy to send GPS location; ideal for calling a tow truck or emergency assistance to your location.
• 3 ways to activate the SOS, via the lock screen, in app button or pulling out the headphone jack. Ideal for joggers, motorcyclists or when walking alone.
• Links to a Directory listing all the Police Stations, Petrol Stations, Hospitals and CPF’s in the country.
