The Nokia 3.2 boasts the biggest HD+ display along with the company’s famous two-day battery life for the asking price. In addition to these features, the phone is powered by the latest Android 9 Pie experience.

The Nokia 3.2 will revolutionise the way you interact with your smartphone, ensuring that your experience keeps getting better. Premiering the dedicated Google Assistant button, you’ll be able to get directions, make calls, listen to music and get answers to your questions at the touch of a button,” commented Shaun Durandt, General Manager of HMD Global Southern Africa.

Better performance, industry-leading display and two-day battery

In order to improve upon the battery life of smartphones and to enhance the user’s experience, the Nokia 3.2 possesses a large battery with upgraded hardware and software. The Adaptive Battery feature included in Android 9 Pie operates background applications that use Artificial Intelligence. This is done for the phone to learn user behaviour in order to increase or decrease power to specific processes or applications. The Nokia 3.2 is said to last for two days, despite power-intensive features like the phone’s 6.26-inch HD+ display which enhances movies, videos and streams.

The Nokia 3.2 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 mobile platform and comes with 2/16 GB memory configuration. The 3.2 is also among the first Nokia phones to include a notification light.

Personalised experience: learns as you use

The Nokia 3.2 will premiere the Google Assistant button which will give the user easier access to obtain directions, access music, make phone calls and other tasks. The Google Assistant can also help with personal information, like transport information and reminders to pay bills.

Majority of the Nokia 3.2’s features are powered by Artifical Intelligence. This includes a face unlock feature to quickly unlock the phone or access applications faster. The Google Assistant can also be accessed without having to unlock the phone.

Android 9 Pie reinforced with Android 1

The Nokia 3.2 will launch with Android 9 Pie, joining other Nokia smartphones within the Android 1 family. Android 1 is able to offer smartphones a longer battery life and a larger storage space. The 3.2 will include 3 years of monthly security patches and two major Operating System updates. The Nokia 3.2 will also include Google Play Protect, which scans over 50 billion applications a day in order to protect your phone from malware. Google Photos will also be included with the phone, giving the user access to free unlimited high-quality photo storage.
