Care Software Solutions Ltd, the South African owned, UK based software company behind the innovative digital care management system, Zuri, will showcase the software’s new features and abilities as part of the Healthcare Innovation Summit Africa, (#HISA2017), at Vodaworld, Johannesburg, Midrand between 29 and 30 August 2017.

The Summit will tackle topics such as robotics, electronic health records, delivering personalised healthcare, artificial intelligence, IoT in healthcare, healthcare policy, telemedicine advances and the future of healthcare in Africa. Delegates attending this event will include CxOs, administrators, heads of technology, policy makers and key stakeholders from public and private hospitals, as well as health-tech entrepreneurs and academics.

Following the success of Zuri within the home care industry, Care Software Solutions Ltd has expanded the software’s capabilities to act as a complete end-to-end care management solution, introducing the benefits of Zuri to the wider care industry including home care, care homes, supported living and learning disabilities. The new features include:

  • Rostering
  • Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) integration
  • HR and Admin
  • The Internet of Things (IoT) enabled

Later in 2017, the company also plans to introduce Zuri Training, which will enable healthcare assistants to undertake industry recognised competency assessments and online training programmes that are mapped towards National QFC qualifications.

Attendees of HISA2017 can visit Stand 20 to see an interactive demonstration of Zuri, which will highlight the new features. Care Software Solutions Ltd are also offering a free 30-day trial of Zuri, and businesses that sign up for a full Zuri subscription at the event will receive an 8” Samsung Galaxy Tab Active tablet, pre-loaded with a free one year Zuri license.

Cheryl Kenealy, CEO of Care Software Solutions Ltd, commented: “Zuri was developed with a vision to create a digital solution that focused solely on care management, mitigating the issues associated with paper-based systems and outdated processes. With its robust and in-depth care management system, Zuri has helped businesses to vastly improve the way they work. Many have even achieved a higher rating from the Care Quality Commission since implementing Zuri. Now that we have proved ourselves within the home care industry, we are ready to expand Zuri’s capabilities with a brand new suite of solution packages that cater to different types of organisations across the care sector. We are always looking for new ways to adapt to our customers’ needs and we can customise Zuri to meet bespoke business requirements. If you’re interested in introducing Zuri to your organisation, but would like to see a feature that we don’t already have in place, we encourage you to find us at Stand 20 at Healthcare Innovation Summit Africa to discuss how we can create a personalised solution just for you.”
