Olleh Rwanda Networks (ORN) has revealed a 30 percent reduction in its prices for 4G internet.
The company revealed that the reason behind the price reduction was to boost the uptake of LTE mobile phone subscribers in Rwanda. The 30 percent reduction covers all existing data packages.
CEO Patrick Yoon revealed that the changes are part of the efforts to bring affordable services to Rwandans, but more importantly to position Rwanda as the leading country in rolling out broadband networks in the region.
Yoon added that the revised prices and the new products have been set following consistent requests by both retailers and the public to make 4G more affordable.
