MTN South Africa launched its WOW promotion on 21 June 2014, targeting MTN customers who spend R6 airtime and get R60 FREE airtime back. Now MTN has increased its reward. Starting today 25 July, MTN customers will get R120 FREE airtime when they spend R6 of their airtime. This promotional offer is valid for 5 days.
“When we launched this promotion we knew that we would receive great response, however it exceeded our expectations. Although it’s only for 5 days, we want to WOW our customers with a bigger and better offer,” says Larry Annetts, the Chief Marketing Officer at MTN South Africa.
This promotion is only applicable to Prepaid, Top-Up and My MTNChoice customers and the free airtime can be used on local MTN-to-MTN calls, local MTN to MTN SMS as well as ad-hoc internet browsing.
“It’s not about buying airtime, it’s about spending airtime. No matter how much airtime you have, if you spend only R6 of it – we will reward you. For these 5 days, customers will in effect get back an equivalent of 2000 percent of their airtime. We continue to offer our customers great value for their money.” He concluded.
To activate the promotion, MTN customers should dial *130*500#. The usage reward will be given only once a day and will be valid for that day, expires at 23:59:59.
