“Prepaid roaming has begun with Orange Tunisia, CV Movel Cap Vert, Vodafone Essar in Gujarat, Mobily in Saudi Arabia, TMN and Optimus in Portugal, Mobinil Egypt and Orange Luxembourg.”

The company, both a landline and mobile operator, hopes the new deals will push it onto the global stage in full force.

It said that “GPRS roaming is now available with Sunrise in Switzerland and K Cell in Kazakhstan. Finally, 3G roaming has been launched with Orange Tunisia, San Marino Telecom, Orange Uganda, Free Mobile, K Cell and Orange Guinea.”
