Pac-man coming to 3DS

Some games need no introduction as they have been passed down from generation to generation and enjoyed by each just as much as the previous.

Pac-Man is one of those games which has captured the imagination of players since it was first launched and has gone on to become one of the most iconic games ever created.

Available for the first time to Nintendo 3DS owners via the Nintendo eShop, Pac-Man’s got the munchies and it is up to gamers to avoid being picked off by one of the ghosts before they can clear the level as this Game Boy classic arrives this Thursday on Virtual console for Nintendo 3DS.

The Nintendo eShop is a digital store for Nintendo 3DS owners that provides access to a wide variety of free and paid for downloadable content each Thursday, which includes Original 3D software, 3D Classics – games that have been re-mastered in 3D, Virtual Console – Game Boy and Game Boy Color games in their original 2D glory and an Extensive library of Nintendo DSiWare games.

Visitors can also view video game trailers, screenshots and product information for games, including those available at retail locations.

In order for Nintendo 3DS owners to gain access to the Nintendo eShop, a system update must be performed via a wireless broadband internet connection.
