The excitement of Egypt’s Cairo ICT 2011 exhibition is gaining steam. Epson, who will showcase at the event that opens on May 25, announced it will reveal a new range of wireless and 3LCD projectors at the technology event in the Egyptian capital.
Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager of Epson Middle East, said in a press release on the company’s website that “Egypt continues to be a key market for Epson despite the recent unrest in the country, and by participating in ICT Cairo 2011 we are reaffirming our confidence in its ICT sector.
“This year our product showcase at the event will feature some of our latest projectors targeted at the region’s business and education sectors. Given the significance of this event to IT and ICT players across the region, we believe that this will be another opportunity for us to show why Epson is the leader in the projector segment,” he added.
The projector range that will be showcased at Cairo ICT 2011 include the Epson EB-465i, EB-455wi, EB-G5950, TW-5500, EB-1775, EB-9 series, D6250, EB-X10, Z8000 and DC11.
Leading cultural institutions are already looking forward to seeing the new projectors, saying it make for a great addition to their ability to perform their duties to their visitors.
“I am very pleased to hear that Epson is going to take their quality products one step further and we are definitely thinking about purchasing them,” said a Spanish Embassy official, who asked not to be identified.
