Mobile operator Zain today announced a new package for its business customers. Launched in Nigeria, OgaLine for Zain My Business subscribers was designed to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in improving mobile usage for both owners and their

    workforce.

The service helps SMEs by providing adequate support for day to day commercial activities , managing communications costs and controlling budget and airtime usage. Also, business owners can determine and allocate exact call time needed for specific business transactions and make mobile calls to workers’ line at a discounted rate.

OgaLine accepts up to 50 people connected to the service. The package starts with one line with option of increasing worker lines.

Alain Sainte-Marie, Chief Executive Officer of Zain Nigeria, said that the new service would support informal – small and medium scale business owners in Nigeria, offering them access to Zain’s prepaid services including roaming, Voicemail, WAP, information services, MMS, social network, inspirational services, caller ring back tone and data roaming at standard rates.

Ogaline from Zain My Business package is part of the company’s “One Network” platform which covers 22 countries across Africa and the Middle East.

Zain Group is one of the leading telecom operators across the Middle East and Africa, providing mobile voice and data services to over 70 million active customers, with a commercial presence in 23 countries.

In 2000, Zain was established in Nigeria by a group of institutional and private investors and one year later launched its commercial GSM service. The operator currently covers over 1.200 towns and 11.500 communities in the country.
