Johannesburg hosts Mobile Solution Showcase

ALL is set for this year’s edition of the Mobile Solutions Showcase that is scheduled for Johannesburg on Friday. The one-day event is set for Sandton, north of Johannesburg.
An array of leaders from the industry, among them Dr Pieter Streicher, managing director at BulkSMS.com, Ahmed Kajee of Cellsmart Technologies and Rick Joubert, Vodacom will make presentations at the event.
Several topics will be under presentation.
Dr Streicher will explore why Mobile marketing needs to comply with industry regulations such as the WASPSA’s Code of Conduct and the Advertising Rules.
Jourbert said, “The team will present mobile marketing solutions and technologies ranging from Mobile Internet advertising, integrated response and redemption mechanics. “Social media and location based marketing and how Advertisers and marketers can learn from successful campaigns based on case studies delivered through Vodacom Mobile Media solutions, and develop ideas on how to integrate the medium into their existing marketing mix.”
