Nigeria: Unity Bank inks SkyVision VPN partnership

SkyVision Global Networks has inked a partnership with Unity Bank of Nigeria. The partnership will see SkyVision providing its satellite-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) services, via its local Nigerian hub, to support Unity Bank’s LAN.

Unity Bank has 236 branch offices and has chosen SkyVision to install and deploy an optimal solution to meet its needs.

The SkyVision VPN is intended to connect Unity Bank’s core applications to its headquarters, which according to the company,  enable continuous, seamless business operations in its rural branches.

Once fully deployed and managed by SkyVision, the VPN will enable Unity Bank to connect its LAN sites with no investment in additional infrastructure. According to the company,  the technology behind SkyVision VPN offers increased flexibility and enables complete management control.
