ASUS Launches AI-Powered ExpertBook Ultra in South Africa

Designed and engineered to meet the productivity and portability needs of today’s professionals and offering superior performance with dedicated AI capabilities, ASUS announced the all-new ExpertBook Ultra.

The ExpertBook Ultra enables users to work, communicate and collaborate through next-generation technology and software solutions. Packing up to Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 Series 3 processors with Intel® AI Boost neural processing, the laptop features an all-metal chassis that weighs from 0.99 kg while still offering high levels of durability and cooling via Nano Ceramic and ExpertCool Pro thermal technology.

The ExpertBook Ultra offers many of ASUS’s signature features, including ASUS MyExpert, the brand’s all-in-one AI companion that helps users simplify their workflows, enhance their productivity and increase overall efficiency. AI neural processing and ASUS ExpertCool Pro

AI capabilities sit at the heart of the ExpertBook Ultra, with the laptop powered by up to Intel® Core™ Ultra X9 Series 3 processors, built-in Intel® Arc™ graphics, and up to 64GB of LPDDR5x memory. The laptop’s dedicated NPU delivers 50 TOPS and up to 180 total-platform TOPS, enabling AI-driven productivity, collaboration and security. Supporting these processing capabilities is ASUS ExpertCool Pro, the company’s advanced full-span cooling system that uses triple air outlets to raise central air pressure by 12%. ExpertCool Pro actively cools the laptop’s SSD and CPU while enabling 50W performance in turbo mode, even when the laptop lid is closed.

Ultralight durable design and 3K tandem OLED display

Featuring an aviation-inspired, magnesium-aluminum design, the ExpertBook Ultra weighs from 0.99 kg and is only 10.9 mm thick, offering a high degree of portability that enables users to take the laptop wherever they go and work wherever they are. At the same time, 9H durability and comfort are guaranteed thanks to Nano Ceramic Technology, which provides long-lasting protection against stains and scratches, and Excimer UV coating on the keyboard for durable smudge resistance.

The ExpertBook debuts a 14-inch 3K tandem OLED anti-glare touchscreen display with up to 1,400 nits of HDR brightness and a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The display’s dual-layer structure delivers higher brightness and lower power consumption levels than standard OLED displays, resulting in enhanced image quality and efficiency. Furthermore, thanks to Gorilla® Glass, which achieves superior drop and scratch resistance, the display further validates the ExpertBook Ultra’s status as a highly durable business solution.

ASUS ExpertGuardian

Built on the principles of stringent NIST SP 800-193 guidelines and complemented by advanced Windows-level protection, ASUS ExpertGuardian prevents unauthorized changes, detects attacks and automatically restores trusted versions of firmware, enabling users to make full use of the laptop’s capabilities in comfort and confidence. Additional security features include fingerprint login, a TPM 2.0 chip for secure authentication information storage and Microsoft Pluton, which helps protect sensitive data and credentials.
