Here’s a closer look at the OPPO Reno 2F:

  • The device sports a rear quad-camera array with a main 48MP lens and f/1.79 aperture, 8MP wide-angle lens and f.2.2 aperture and finally two 2MP lenses.
  • It’s fitted with a motorised 16MP selfie camera with free-fall protection – essentially, the device will sense if it is falling and automatically retract the camera to make sure it avoids damage.
  • The Reno 2F features OPPO Ultra Night Mode 2.0 to take clearer images at night, Portrait mode 2.0 with an automatic background blur and HDR portrait which takes multiple shots at once.
  • The device has also been geared up to run OPPO’s Smart Video Editor that can automatically add music and transitions to footage.
  •  It uses an optical fingerprint scanner located beneath the glass screen and according to the company, it unlocks 11.3% faster than previous Reno smartphones.
  • It comes standard with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of ROM and runs with the Mediatek MTK P70 processor.
  • The Reno 2F uses a 4000mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 – it takes roughly 30 minutes to charge up to 50%.
  • The device runs thanks to OPPO’s ColorOS 6.1 which uses Android Pie.

The Reno 2F comes in Sky White or Lake Green and will cost around $390.
