HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, announced on Monday, 7 October 2019, that the all-new fourth generation feature phone – the Nokia 105 – is launching in South Africa.

Packing a lasting battery, an island key mat and a 1.77” colour screen with an inherently coloured polycarbonate body, the new Nokia 105 effortlessly combines modern design with simplicity and durability.

Shaun Durandt, General Manager, HMD Global, says, “As a business, we aim to keep getting better. With this introduction, we are bringing the reliability to first-time mobile users, as well as the quality our most popular feature phones are known for, with even better functionality.”

Nokia 105’s removable battery can last for days between charges. Consumers can call family and friends for hours on end without worrying about the battery life of their phone. It also comes standard with up to 2,000 contacts and 500 SMSs storage space. Additionally, the device has a built-in FM radio and an LED torchlight – simply press the up key twice to quickly turn the torch on and off.

The contoured modern design makes the Nokia 105 a great fit in hand – featuring inherent colour throughout its polycarbonate casing, minimising the visual impact of knocks and bumps, Nokia 105 is built for everyday life, delivering the quality, reliability and robust design consumers can expect from a Nokia phone.

The Nokia 105 comes with six-try and buy preloaded Gameloft games including Tetris, Sky Gift, Airstrike, Nitro Racing, Ninja UP! and Danger Dash.

The Nokia 105 will be available in Black at MTN and Vodacom stores for R249.00 from the 15th of October 2019.
