MTN Nigeria launches 4G+ in 3 states

July 1, 2019 • Mobile and Telecoms, West Africa

MTN Nigeria announced that it’s 4G+ service has been launched and is immediately available in Lagos, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt.

According to an article published by Telecompaper, ‘MTN 4G+ runs on LTE advanced technology using a combination of the recently acquired 800 MHz spectrum and 2600 MHz spectrum. The added spectrum and advanced systems will enable speeds of up to 200 Mbps’.

In order for customers to make full use of this 4G+ experience, they need to upgrade to an MTN Standard 4G SIM card — available in stores all across the country.
