Visitors to the Photo & Video Experience from 26 to 28 July 2019 can look forward to a hands-on, immersive event that will demonstrate how Canon offers high-quality, end-to-end imaging solution – from hardware to digital services and print.
“Canon’s aim is to inspire and enable photographers to capture, store, print and share their life experiences through the universal language of imagery,” says Michelle Janse van Vuuren, Marketing Director of Canon South Africa.
Van Vuuren adds, “we will be showing visitors just how to do that by giving them the opportunity to capture nine different interactive zones through a Canon lens. They can also engage with some of the stars in Canon’s award-winning camera and video product ranges, as well as our inkjet printers”.
Throughout the duration of the event, visitors have the opportunity to listen to some of the most respected professional photographers in South Africa who will offer tips on capturing incredible imagery, using different styles and techniques. The presenters to look out for include; Andrew Aveley, Anton and Darryl van Niekerk, Josie Borain, Natalia Arentseva, Steve Castings and Michael Trucker.
Canon will also demonstrate its innovative apps, encouraging visitors to start sharing their images with the world, whether it be digitally or physically. Canon’s cameras integrate with smart devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi using the free Canon Camera Connect app for iOS and Android. Images and videos can then be downloaded to a smart device, reviewed and posted on social media or shared with friends and family.
“We are excited to be showcasing our smart imaging products and hope to inspire photographers in their pursuit of the perfect shot. Pushing creative boundaries and championing visual storytelling is what defines Canon and we are constantly reinventing what’s possible in the world of imaging, for consumers and professionals alike,” concludes Janse van Vuuren.
