To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its premium smartphone line-up, Samsung is expected to roll out the Galaxy 10 flagships in 2019.
According to reports by the Wall Street Journal, Samsung will launch a total of four smartphones.
Three of these smartphones are expected to launch between February-March, while the fourth one may launch at a later stage. The three phones are said to bear the Galaxy S10 name while the fourth one may be called the “Beyond X”.
As previously reported, the three Galaxy S10 devices is expected to have a standard model with a 5.8-inch flat type display, which means that this phone will not have a curved display design in which the display melts to the sides. The other two models are expected to have 5.8-inch and 6.2 inch curved edge type displays.
Samsung smartphones’ global shipments declined by more than 10 million in the third quarter of 2018.
The company shipped only 72.2 million units in the third quarter, whereas this number was 83.3 million during the same period last year, according to Statista.
Samsung is planning a launch event for the Galaxy S in the middle of February 2019, according to the WSJ sources, however, nothing appears to be final.
