In the early hours of Sunday the 27th of August 2017, the world will come to a stand still as Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Conor “The Notorious” McGregor clash in Las Vegas in a boxing match which has captivated the globe.
Where can I watch it?
The fight dubbed the “Money Fight”, will be broadcasted live on Sunday at 5am CAT on Supersport for DSTV premium subscribers. Alternatively, those who do not have DSTV subscriptions can catch the fight on Showmax at the delayed time of 10am CAT.
In what is possibly the most anticipated fight in combat sports history, the American, Mayweather, will go up against the Irishman McGregor in a fight, which is riddled with various sub-plots. It is a boxer vs an MMA fighter, an experienced professional vs a boxing debutant. Mayweather will be looking to extend his professional record to 50-0, while McGregor looks to shock the world in his first professional boxing fight after dominating the MMA scene (Mixed Martial Arts) in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).
