Africa’s digital role players to converge on International Cyber Convention

On 24-25 August 2017, Bridge2Africa will host the Inaugural International Cyber Convention at the Aviator Hotel in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The summit promises to gather the most important Digital players from all over the African Continent.

Featuring over 15 distinguished Tech speakers and participants from over 48 countries and about 200 delegates from various sectors, the two day convention will be profiled in 20 different sessions on wide topics on Cyber Safety, Cyber Security, Cyber Crime and Cyber Law. • Prof SH (Basie) von Solms is a Research Professor in the Academy for Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Johannesburg in Johannesburg, South Africa.
• Prof Elmarie Kritzinger joined the University of South Africa’s College of Science, Engineering and Technology in 2000 and currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the School of Computing. Dr Kishor
• Krishman Nair is a CSIR senior researcher in information security. His main research interests include the security aspects of smart cards, biometrics, Internet of Things, payment systems and wireless protocols.
• Sizwe Lindelo Snail ka Mtuze holds a Baccalareus Legum (LLB) from the University of Pretoria, with tax law and cyber-law electives. He is a practising attorney with the law firm Snail Attorneys at Law
