Vodafone Ghana made available free internet access to its customers at selected retail shops to celebrate this year’s World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD).

WTISD, which is celebrated on 17 May every year, is marked to observe the formation of the International Telecommunication Union.

According to Michael Adjei, Vodafone Ghana Commercial Director: “Vodafone used the day to raise awareness about the endless possibilities of using the internet and its benefits to communities.”
