Mobile Money is in partnership with the Ministry for Gender, Children and social Protection in the disbursement of funds to LEAP beneficiaries across the country.

MTN Ghana has revealed plans to partner with a variety of microfinance companies. The partnership is intended to assist customers to receive and repay loans via the Mobile Money wallet.

According to MTN Ghana, Mobile Money is in partnership with the Ministry for Gender, Children and social Protection in the disbursement of funds to LEAP beneficiaries across the country.

MTN Ghana CEO, Serame Taukobong stated that: “I am confident that a cashless society is not far off.” Taukobong added that the third Mobile Money month celebration in Accra that the Mobile Money business in Ghana has within a short time recorded a rapid growth in operation with over one million active customers on the network and over 6.5 million transactions per month.
