During Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of February, visitors to the annual Congress got to examine some of the latest mobile handsets on offer – including LG.

LG’s latest flagship model is the G Flex- and what sets this model apart from the others, is that it features a curved display.
“With more than six decades of consumer electronics experience around the globe, LG has proven itself to be a champion of innovation. LG has now leveraged that expertise, forever changing the very shape of the smartphone category by creating the new G Flex, the world’s first curved, flexible smartphone,” the company said in a statement.
The unit is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Processor, Android 4.2.2 operating system, and is kept operational through a 3,500 mAh Li-Polymer battery. The 6-inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 720 with 245 ppi.
The unit has a 13 MP AF BSI Camera in the rear, while sporting a 2.1 MP camera in the front. The G Flex measures 160.5 mm x 81.6 mm x 7.9/8.7 mm, and only weighs 177 g.
“G Flex’s curved screen fills your field of vision for a more immersive, panoramic viewing experience. Plus, the high-quality OLED display offers bright, vivid reproduction while helping to minimize glare from reflections,” the company said.
