Game distributor Warner Bros. has confirmed that their upcoming Batman Arkham City will require an Online Pass if gamers want to play as Catwoman. It has been known for some time that Catwoman would be playable, but further details weren’t revealed until now.
Every new copy of Batman Arkham City will be shipped with the Online Pass, which will allow gamers to take control of the cat burglar at certain points in the game, but player who buy a second-hand copy, will have to purchase the Pass for 800 Microsoft Point – or they won’t be able to play as her.
“Further to your story, players who purchase previously owned copies of Batman: Arkham City can access the playable Catwoman content for 800 Microsoft Points. Playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game,” the company said.
“Catwoman is a unique character with her own story, moves, and weapons. Unlock Catwoman by redeeming the 1st purchaser included in the game case or by visiting Xbox Live Marketplace,” it was stated.
