Track Distribution has obtained the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional distribution status from Cisco. The agreement allows the company, part of Aptec Holdings Ltd, to track the capabilities to scale up operations in adjacent regional markets separate from the current ones covered.
“Cisco’s appointment of Track Distribution as a Regional Distributor reflects our commitment to invest in our partnership with Cisco and our ambition to become a leading Cisco Technology provider to our partners across emerging markets. I am delighted that our company now joins a select group of partners as this will enable us to invest further in our unique customer programs and to expand our partnership into new regions,” said Ali Baghdadi , CEO and President of Aptec Holdings.
Phil Wright, Director of Distribution Emerging Markets at Cisco said, “Track Distribution achieving the Cisco Regional Distribution Partner classification is reflective of the growth of our joint business. This has been achieved through strong alignment, expansion into new markets and market leading processes and systems. Track Distribution continues to generate significant business for Cisco in Emerging Markets and consistently offers innovative solutions to its expanding reseller base. The company is a pleasure to work with and I look forward to continue seeing Track succeed together with Cisco.”
According to the company, the regional status comes at the “right time” in order to launch a number of commercial and data centers aimed at increasing the IT sector in North Africa.
