MTN Business, a wholly owned division of mobile operator MTN South Africa, has appointed Johnny Aucamp as General Manager for Strategic Relations and Business Development in Africa, in line with the company’s future strategic vision.

Aucamp’s role will be to liaise with all the various MTN offices in Africa and drive the company’s standardized service delivery vision to deliver communication solutions across the continent.

“This is achieved by providing universal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) across the continent and offering a common interface to support infrastructure”, said Aucamp.

MTN Business plans to expand into Africa by setting up integral partnerships with customers depending on the relevant approach, which could include the set up of mobile communications, fixed line and ISP services, data centre and managed services including security, exchange and even hosted PABX.

The company already has a footprint in 21 countries, including 16 in Africa through parent firm MTN.

MTN Business, the business channel of MTN SA, is focused on providing business communication solutions to both small and large businesses as well as the public sector.
