MTN South Africa brings its customers the lowest per second prepaid call rates to all networks through OneRate for MTN Pay As You Go users, a new prepaid flat rate service benefiting from MTN’s True Per Second Biling Structure, announced MTN officials.

MTNKarel_Pienaar.jpg“MTN OneRate is aimed at those prepaid subscribers who make a lot of calls during office hours. Subscribers know exactly what they’re paying for on every call. More importantly, subscribers know exactly how much they are saving with every call and are able to manage their costs”, said Serame Taukobong, chief marketing officer of MTN South Africa.

The service is available all day to all networks, for as little as 3,1 cents per second representing a saving of 35% on the standard prepaid peak time rates. Furthermore, part of lower call rates plan, the SMS rates on MTN OneRate have been reduced to 50% per SMS. More attractive options include 7 free calls per day, one free daily SMS and full MTN voicemail service.

MTN OneRate can be accessed from any MTN Pay As You Go phone by dialing *141*4*5# or calling customer centre for assistance on 173.
