Russian consortium to build Angolan satellite

The Angolan government has approved the creation of an Angolan satellite, in a contract to be signed between the Ministry of Postal Services and Telecommunication and the Russian consortium led by Rosobon Export.

Known as Angosat, the building, placing in orbit and operation of the satelitte will be the responsibility of the Russian consortium.

Installing the satellite will make it possible to provide international access, support and expansion of broadband Internet services, transmission to telecommunications operators and access to support for television and radio network services.
