Twitter Reacts: Apple launch iPhone 8 and iPhone X

On the 12th of September 2017, Apple released their new range of devices at an event at their newly opened California headquarters. Among the new devices revealed was the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X.

According to the firm, the iPhone X is the future of the smartphone and comes in an all-glass design with a 5.8-inch Super Retina display, A11 Bionic chip, wireless charging and an improved rear camera with dual optical image stabilisation.

The iPhone X, along with the other devices, will be available for pre-order beginning Friday, October 27, 2017, in more than 55 countries and territories, and in stores beginning Friday, 3rd November 2017. The device is expected to retail for $1000.

The unveiling grabbed the attention of millions of people from all around the world. Apple lovers and haters a like took to social media to share their views on the new devices, the launch event and all things Apple.
