Tim Modise leads Sizwe Africa
South African media personality Tim Modise has been appointed CEO of
Tim Modise will start in his new role as of 1st February, 2010. Previously, Modise has worked as executive director communications and commercial affairs for the 2010 Soccer World Cup and was chairperson of the BEE Scorecard for the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism.
He was also involved as leader of the Proudly South African campaign for three years and held various radio and TV broadcasting positions.
Sizwe Africa IT Group is the holding company of the Sizwe Group of Companies, consisting of Sizwe Business Networking, Smart Support Services, Sizwe Infrastructure and various other subsidiaries.
The company was established in 2001 by CEO Ben Kekana and Hanno van Dyk, after identifying the need for a quality black-owned support and maintenance provider in the ICT environment. Sizwe Africa IT Group employs over 500 people, with revenues of R700 million annually.
