OpenAI’s ChatGPT Officially Launches GPT Store

Must Read

OpenAI’s long awaited GPT store has finally gone live. Since the announcement of the store launch, over 3 million users have already created over 3 million custom versions of ChatGPT.

Builders have also started sharing their version’s of GPT with others to use. The new GPT store is now available to users across the world looking for a platform to find useful and popular GPTs.

The store has a wide range of different GPTs that have been developed by OpenAI’s partners and the wider community. Popular and trending GPTs can be accessed through the community leaderboard, with categories like DALL·E, writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle.

Some of the first GPTs that featured on the store are personalised trail recommendations, search and synthesize results from 200M academic papers with Consensus, expand your coding skills with Khan Academy’s Code Tutor, Design presentations or social posts, Find your next read and others.

Users have also now been given the access to build their own GPT  and it doesn’t even require any coding skills. The only requirement that OpenAI has is that the GPT is compliant with the platform’s existing policies.

With such wide and open access to public manipulation – concerns may surface with regards to the integrity and quality of the GPTs – this is why the platform has policies in place, a review system and a function that allows users to report any unusual activity linked to a GPT.

The immense power that this new feature holds is immeasurable, giving builders the opportunity to generate revenue from their custom GPT’s. Builders will be paid based on their user engagement with their GPTs.
