2K Games is planning to release a series of post-launch content for this year’s release of the company’s popular annual wrestling series, WWE 2K. WWE 2K20 will feature 4 post-release content packs under the title WWE 2K20 Originals. These content packs, according to 2K, will introduce new realms to the game, as well as new themes unique to each content pack.
The first content pack has been revealed by 2K, titled WWE 2K20 Originals: Bump in the Night. This content pack will feature a horror theme that, according to 2K, will fit perfectly following the launch of the game in October. WWE 2K20 Originals: Bump in the Night will be available at no extra cost for people who pre-order the game from select retailers, and will be available on its own for $14.99. The main feature of WWE 2K20 Originals: Bump in the Night is the debut playable version of “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt who recently made his in-ring debut at SummerSlam in August 2019. Wyatt, according to 2K, is a perfect fit for the horror-themed content pack, which will also include a horror-themed Showcase, unique story towers, horror versions of WWE Superstars and more.

- An alternate “Swampfather” version of Bray Wyatt has gained supernatural abilities and has become an embodiment of the swamp itself. He lures Finn Bálor to his compound and recruits Finn’s Demon into his crew of superpowered WWE Superstars. Finn has to fight in a series of matches against Wyatt’s crew in order to unleash his true power. 2K adds that unique commentary will be available for this Showcase.

WWE 2K20 is currently set for release on 22 October 2019 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. 2K has said that all WWE 2K20 Originals content packs will be released by Spring 2020.
