The Breitling Navitimer, according to Breitling, has been one of the world’s most highly regarded pilot watches since 1952. Breitling has recently announced the launch of the Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 Limited Edition exclusively for the Middle East. The new limited edition watch is limited to 250 pieces, and,  the company reveals that; “The new Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 in green livery, combines the historic appeal of a true icon with the refinement of a sophisticated, contemporary timepiece and represents a stunning addition to the Navitimer family.”

The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 features Breitling’s familiar circular slide rule and distinctive beaded bi-directional bezel along with a 41mm stainless steel case and a three-hand dial. “The new Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 is an ideal companion for our Middle East cosmopolitan travellers. With its green dial, it has a fresh, contemporary look whilst drawing inspiration from the iconic Navitimer Ref. 806 and the Reference 66, a three-handed Navitimer we launched back in the 1950s,” said Aed Adwan, Breitling Middle East Managing Director.

The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41’s hour markers, hour and minute hands are coated with Super-LumiNova, which is a luminescent material that is said to ensure easy reading in any lighting condition. The watch features a red-tipped central seconds hand and a date window at the 6 o’clock position on the dial. The model is presented on either an alligator strip (with folding or pin clasp) or on a stainless steel Navitimer bracelet with a folding clasp.

The Navitimer 1 Automatic 41 will be powered by the Breitling Caliber 17, which is an automatic movement that comes with a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The limited edition watch is a COSC-certified chronometer, meaning its efficiency, reliability and accuracy is guaranteed. The watch is also water-resistant to 30 meters/100 feet.
