In what is being called by Vodafone Ghana as the Ghana telecoms industry’s first convergence product – Vodafone One has recently been launched to the public. The product, which was officially launched at the luxurious Kempiski Royal Hotel in Accra, combines key usage touch points which include voice broadband, mobile voice and data looks to offer Ghanaian’s a new all rounded product.
In attendance at the launch were some key tech industry players including the deputy minister of communication, George Andah.
The Director of Fixed Business and Customer Operations at Vodafone Ghana Patricia Obo-Nai told Biztechafrica that unlike other products, Vodafone one offers convergence cutting across our fixed and mobile services, meaning it allows customers to be connected across multiple devices/ channels from a single bundle while satisfying all their communication needs.
Obo-Nai also revealed that the new Vodafone One gives customers’ broadband internet for homes and offices and calls at best rates across networks with an auto-renewal feature. According to her the product allows customers to be connected across multiple devices/channels from a single bundle whiles satisfying all their communication needs.
Giving the rationale behind Vodafone One package Director of Fixed Business and Customer Operations at Vodafone Ghana disclosed further that Vodafone introduced the Vodafone One package to suit customer needs.
“As a network driving the digitalisation agenda, we recognise that our customers continue to desire more flexibility and direct oversight over their usage and this why Vodafone has introduced this unique package to suit customer needs,” she stated.
