The report reveals that Oyagbola stated that the acquisition of Visafone was in line with MTN’s commitment to improving the quality of its broadband services.

She revealed that the acquisition, which aims to leverage resources for service enhancement, also reflected the company’s efforts to deepen the growth and rollout of broadband services across the country.

According to a report via TelecomPaper, the acquisition of the CDMA operator is a multi-million Naira deal. Visafone’s additional spectrum is expected to help MTN boost its mobile internet coverage.
