South Africa: Citrix appoints new country manager

Citrix has revealed the appointment of Brendan Mc Aravey as Country Manager, South Africa. According to the company, Brendan brings extensive sales and leadership experience to Citrix, and will drive awareness of mobile workspaces, as customers continue to adopt virtualisation, mobility management, networking and cloud services technologies.

Reporting to Johnny Karam, Regional Vice President, Middle East and Africa, Brendan will be responsible for the growth and development of Citrix operation across South Africa, driving revenues, generating new business opportunities and cultivating the company’s valued partner ecosystem.

With over 22 years of experience in leading technology businesses, Brendan has previously held a number of positions at Dell; he was most recently Country Manager and Regional Sales Director, South Africa. He is passionate about leading sales and pre-sales teams to deliver infrastructure solutions for customers.
