With the brand’s recent re-entry into Africa, the company has seen growth. Alcatel One Touch is available in five countries in Africa, with countries such as Kenya and Zambia showing exponential growth in sales. Alcatel One Touch is currently one of the top 5 vendors in Africa. The “Android for all” campaign launched in Africa has seen the brands smart phones excel in markets such as Kenya, with the One Touch Mix 918 having sold 75 000 units in September 2012.
Vodacom has selected Alcatel One Touch as a preferred supplier for their new 4G LTE offerings.
