The 6th SA Innovation Summit took place on 27th, 28th and 29th August in Johannesburg and offered business leaders, industry analysts, HR managers, innovators and other stakeholders the opportunity to delve into the dynamics of the country’s changing innovation landscape.

Hosted by the Industrial Development Corporation of SA Ltd. (IDC), in conjunction with several partners from various sectors, the Summit included workshops, keynote presentations and the Sparklab – a platform for businesses, developers and innovators to showcase their creations and ideas.

Geoffrey Qhena, CEO, IDC, has commented that whilst South Africa has made progress, more still needs to be done to ensure that sustainable, solid ideas are supported to ensure they are effectively taken up in the market.
