‘ICT4Ag’ is the must-attend- event of 2013. Cohosted by CTA and the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI) and supported by an impressive array of international organisations, it will bring together the brightest and best from around the world in the field of ICTs for agricultural development.
Discussions will focus on how increased investment and adoption of ICTs in the agricultural sector will contribute to improved value chains as well as more effective advocacy and policy processes in agricultural and rural development. Issues related to ICT trends and their impact on ARD, capacity building, enabling environments, scaling up and sustainability will also be discussed.
The conference is preceded by ‘Plug and Play Day’ where delegates can experience new innovations and cutting edge ICT solutions. A 4-day hackathon will run in parallel to the event. Exhibitors will also have the opportunity to showcase their ICT innovations for agriculture.
