To sustain our momentum with operational challenges in an increasingly competitive environment, MTN SA has reviewed its operating structures with a view to improving organisational effectiveness.  As a result, MTN SA duly announces the appointment of Zunaid Bulbulia, the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2005, to the position of Acting Chief Enterprise Business Officer with immediate effect.

Zunaid is taking to the helm a dynamic new business unit that will see ICT convergence become a reality for our enterprise customers across South Africa. Zunaid will continue to manage our company finances and, effectively, will have a dual role.

MTN SA also bids farewell to Angela Gahagan-Thompson, Managing Director of MTN Business, who will be pursuing business interests outside of the company. Gahagan–Thomson joined MTN SA in 2010 as executive MTN Business, where she was responsible for pursuing strategic business development opportunities.

Angela brought outstanding leadership and management credentials to MTN SA, which will put her in good stead to work across different organisations. As a member of MTN EXCO, Angela made a sterling contribution to the development of the MTN Business. MTN wishes her well in her business pursuits.

MTN will keep the public informed if there are any new developments in this space.
