Lazarus is back — Telkom

Lazarus Zim has been reappointed as the Telkom group’s board chairman. Appointed last year, his current contract terminates on 31 August 2013 or at the group’s general meeting later this year.

Zim replaced Jeff Molobela last year, Molobela is staying on as a Telkom board member.

“Zim is well known in corporate circles having served as CEO of MIH South Africa, MD of SuperSport Channel, is the chairperson of Afripalm Resources and Northam Platinum, and has served as CEO of Anglo American South Africa,” the Mail & Guardian wrote.

Other non-executive directors’, Reitumetse Huntley and Julia Hope, contracts’ were extended for another two years.
