Management at Accsys has toasted the company’s 30th year in operation with the release of new software including Accsys PeopleWare 11 (an upgrade of Accsys PeopleWare 7), Accsys PeopleCloud – the Software as a Service cloud-based HR and payroll services offering, as well as face and finger recognition biometric technology.
The company is an established national supplier of management solutions within HR, payroll administration, time & attendance and access control, and a member of the Business Connexion Group.
Showcasing the latest technology contribution to customers, clients and partners, Teryl Schroenn, CEO at Accsys, confirmed the company’s position as a service provider to over 2000 companies, a business with presence in over 13 African countries and over 14 million payslips per annum generated through its solutions.
“Although the manufacturing and retail sectors represent the highest portion of our clients, we provide a service across the entire spectrum of South African commerce with a foothold in the public sector,” said Schroenn.
Accsys PeopleWare 11 is the company’s latest version of its acclaimed people and business management software. Named after the year 2011 and its tie-in with Sybase 11, Delphi 11and Crystal Reports XI, Accsys PeopleWare 11 is designed as a central database controlling the full suite of software, allowing single entry of employee data. .
“This is where we are unique. We streamline the various disciplines across one database and this means if a user can use one module, he or she would be able to use all of them. It is about consistency in delivery,” says Schroenn.
Search within preview, more export options, elimination of overhead for easier mining into database and simplicity of installation have been singled out as key advantages.
Taking HR, payroll to the clouds
In keeping with its theme for celebrating its 30th year in business, the pearl, Accsys also used the opportunity to speak more of the elegance and beauty of its cloud offering called Accsys PeopleCloud.
“This requires no installation, no upgrades and no back-ups for the user. It is a solution that reflects the direction and focus within the current market for virtualised, cloud-based service. Our clients have the benefit of a fully integrated PeopleWare solution hosted in the cloud,” says Schroenn.
The launch also unveiled the certification of PeopleWare 11 by Ideco, the South African Safran Morpho (Sagem) distributor. This technology will enable resellers to market their readers with the full power of PeopleWare 11.
In addition, according to Schroenn facial recognition is gaining momentum within the adoption and application of biometric technology because of concerns with fingerprint application in certain environments. The newly launched software also supports the iFace multi-biometric identification time attendance system.
