Orange Uganda selects Alcatel-Lucent to build network

Alcatel-Lucent announced today that it was selected by Orange Uganda Ltd to dramatically reduce the operator’s global network maintenance costs and improve network operating efficiencies.
Alcatel-Lucent will build, operate and manage the Orange Uganda mobile network, by providing technical support, repair, field maintenance and program management services. This full Managed Services contract is the first ever in Uganda as well as in East Africa.
