SOFTWARE developer Softline Pastel Payroll has launched a new online software application that enables companies to pay employees to at any time from anywhere in the world provided there is internet connection.
Known as Pastel My Paycheck Online, the software solution is aimed at start-up businesses and small companies. Officials said the software is simply structured and uncomplicated and also ensures that users pay their employees in full accordance with the minimum requirements of South African employee tax legislation.
Pastel My Paycheck Online will produce payslips and make the payments in just four simple steps while users do not need any payroll qualification whatsoever.
Pastel Payroll’s online manager, Ashveer Rajcoomar said that customers using the software can do so with complete peace of mind that Pay As You Earn and Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) obligations and legalities are always met.
“Being browser-based, the software enables customers to process their payroll when it suits them and from anywhere that they have an Internet connection, this flexibility optimises the user’s time,” Rajcoomar commented.
The online payroll solution is highly secure and client information is accessible only by the payroll user to ensure confidentiality. A secure payment gateway provides complete peace of mind by ensuring that credit card payments are completely confidential.
Employment contracts, tax reports and payslips are automatically created for employer and employee records. UIF returns and SARS tax registration forms are automatically populated with the information entered and can then be emailed directly to the UIF or SARS.
Pastel My Paycheck Online caters for daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly payment frequencies and the online transactions can be printed out on plain paper or on secure, professional pre-printed payslips for employee records. It maintains a full electronic history for the company.
