New sms,vcard,email option for Egypt Yellow Pages user

Cairo (IT News Africa) —Egypt Yellow Pages has added a new option to its Mobile Yellow Pages (MYP) website, which allows users to send business listings by SMS, vCard (business card via a mobile telephone) or e-mail.

The service allows the user to access the mobile landing page of any Mobile Yellow Pages listing by clicking on the link ‘Send Listing,’ and entering the mobile number or e-mail address to which the listing is to be delivered.

“From the standpoint of our users, the best part about this new option might be that it is free,” said Marc Lambert, Regional Managing Director for Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd adding that the cost of the SMS is charged to Yellow Pages not the user.

“We continuously seek to improve the capabilities of our products, while passing on cost-savings to our costumers,” Lambert added.

The new feature is also available on Internet Yellow Pages (IYP), and will be integrated into the iPhone application.

Based in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt Yellow Pages Ltd is the official publisher of Yellow Pages-branded products in Egypt.
